Understanding overtime pay
Hourly wage = 1/173
The overtime base is the hourly wage = 1/173 × monthly wage (basic + fixed allowance). The 173 comes from average monthly working hours.
Work day
The 1st overtime hour is paid 1.5× the hourly wage; subsequent hours 2×. The maximum overtime on a work day is 4 hours per day.
Holidays
On a weekly/public holiday (5-day pattern): first 8 hours 2×, 9th hour 3×, 10th & 11th 4×. 6-day pattern: first 7 hours 2×, 8th 3×, 9th–11th 4×.

How do I calculate overtime pay?
Compute the hourly wage = 1/173 × monthly wage, then multiply by each hour's multiplier per PP 35/2021. On a work day: 1st hour = 1.5×, subsequent 2×. The calculator sums all hours.
What are the holiday overtime multipliers?
For a 5-day pattern: first 8 hours each 2×, 9th hour 3×, 10th and 11th 4×. For a 6-day pattern: first 7 hours 2×, 8th 3×, 9th to 11th 4×.
What's included in the overtime base?
The base is the monthly wage of basic salary + fixed allowance. Variable allowances (e.g. daily meal money) generally aren't in the overtime base.
What's the maximum overtime?
Per the rules, overtime is capped at 4 hours in a day and 18 hours in a week (excluding official holidays). Holiday overtime is governed separately with higher multipliers.
What if the company rule is more favorable?
This formula is the PP 35/2021 MINIMUM. If the work agreement or company rule gives higher overtime pay, the more favorable one for the worker applies.
