What is length of service used for?

Is length of service counted continuously?
Generally the counted service is continuous service at the same company. A break or company change may affect certain entitlement calculations — check the applicable rules.
How long of service for full severance?
Severance rises with service up to a maximum of 9 months' wage for 8+ years (PP 35/2021). Use this length-of-service result as the basis in the severance calculator.
Is the end date required?
No. If left empty, the calculator uses today as the end date, computing service up to now. Enter an end date to compute up to a specific date.
